Coastline. Bottom Fishing and Trolling for Spanish Mackerel, Kingfish, Cobia, Sharks, Black Seabass, Sheepshead, Dolphin, Wahoo, Jack Cravalle, Amberjack, Bonita, Spadefish, Little Tunys, and several other species. Where the Ashley, Cooper, and Wando rivers all confluence to form the Atlantic Ocean the Redfish (Spot Tailed Bass), Spotted Sea Trout and Southern Flounder are abundant along with all of the other marine life in the tidal creeks and estuaries. Sea Otter, Pelicans, Dolphins, White Tailed Deer, Eagles, Ospreys, Wood Storks, Oysters, Crabs, Mussels, and many other species of Mammals, Birds, and Sea life.
Uncle Ducky Charters offers fishing trips and sightseeing trips in the Charleston Bay Area. Fishing Trips consist of 4 and 6 hour trips either inshore in the Salt Marsh tidal creeks and bays or offshore on the many reefs both artificial and live that are so abundant off of the Charleston harbor. Inshore fishing is done casting or fly fishing on the receding or flowing tides as the Redfish and Sea Trout exit or are about to enter the Spartina Grass Flats that are everywhere down here. Flounder is also abundant here and caught in the rivers and creeks. Near Shore Fishing is done by either trolling or anchoring over some structure and jigging or bottom fishing. On both trips we have all of the gear and supply all of the bait. Our Captains have fished these areas for years and are dedicated toward making your experience safe, pleasant, and fruitful.
If fishing is not in your plans how about a sightseeing tour by water around the harbor, up the rivers, around the barrier Islands, and down the Inter Coastal Waterway. You'll see Dolphins and Pelicans as you travel out to Fort Sumter, where the first shots of the Civil War were fired. We'll then go up the Intercoastal Waterway behind Sullivan's Island and Fort Moultrie, behind the Isle of Palms and past Goat Island as we take a little detour into the Spartina Grass of the Salt Marshes where wildlife abounds. Dewees Island passes off to our left as we proceed out the Dewees Inlet to Travel offshore in front of the Isle of Palms and back into the Charleston Harbor inside of the jettys toward the City of Charleston where we'll see the city from the water just as sailors have done for over 400 years. We can go down the Ashley to see beautiful plantations and 
cruise along the city front to see the Historical Homes along the harbor. Then over by Patroits Point and the Aircraft Carrier Yorktown and the many other ships on display. Ending our trip we are back into Shem Creek by the Mount Pleasant Shrimping fleet and past the numerous Sea Food Restaurants and the Shem Creek Inn. A Great place for lunch or dinner or just a cool drink after a great trip on the water.
